How it works
We work on your calendar, not ours.
You already have a rhythm: dispatch in the morning, payroll every week, billing every month, a busy season every year. We work inside it, so nothing said in the field gets lost on the way to the bill.
You hear only what needs you.
Why ERMODA
You shouldn’t have to carry every promise in your head, or find out it slipped when the client calls.
Your business has sales, the crews, the office and billing, and the tools each one uses. Each runs its part.
It still loses promises. A commitment made on a call or on site lives in none of them, so it slips through.
Nobody owns the space between them. That’s where promises slip. It’s also where the owner ends up relaying and following up.
That’s where we work. We hold each promise across the tools you already have, with one named owner, until it’s done.
A promise closes only when there’s proof the work was done and the person relying on it has been told. You only hear about it when something is stuck.
Illustrative example
Agreed result
When a client says something wasn’t done as agreed, the owner can see what was promised, who did the work and who is making it right, and knows when the client has been told it’s done.
“I’ll look into it.”
A client calls: “It was supposed to be green.” The owner promises to look into it, then texts the crew lead from the car. The original agreement was made on site, and nobody wrote it down. Two painters worked that week. Three days later, the client calls again.
One promise, one owner, proof before it closes.
We agree where client commitments are recorded and who can make them. Every promise gets a named owner. It isn’t finished until there is proof of the work and the client has been told. The owner hears only when something is stuck.
- What happens
- Each client complaint is logged with the original agreement, a named owner, dated proof it was made right and the client update.
- What you’d see
- The owner no longer relays messages or asks for status.
- Still unknown
- Whether repeat complaints and free rework fall over time. That needs a baseline and a longer measure.
The morning something needs you
A heads-up before the trucks roll. Only what needs you, and who owns it.
- For service companiesIt shows which jobs from yesterday got billed. It also shows callbacks, plan visits and quotes still waiting on someone.
- For contractorsIt shows if tickets got signed and extras got written up. It checks that hours went to the right job.
Every Monday
A short brief that shows what got done, what’s stuck and what needs you.
- For service companiesIt lists renewals coming due and visits to book. It flags quotes to follow up and checks hours before payroll.
- For contractorsIt shows where each change order stands and how cost compares to budget. It lists what you promised the GC, owner or buyer.
Every month
Once a month, we go over the record with you on a short call: what was caught, what was done and what it was worth.
- For service companiesWe check that renewals were kept and visits got done. Then we check the work got billed.
- For contractorsPay apps go out on time, with backup. Lien waivers come in and go out. We track retainage until it’s paid.
Every season
Ready for your busy season and for hurricane season. Insurance, payroll and suppliers re-checked on a calendar, not when something goes wrong.
In your tools
We work in the tools you use now, like ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Buildertrend or QuickBooks. No new app to learn. Your data stays yours.
Tools alone often don’t pay off: only 15% of commercial contractors using AI report a significant return with clear ROI (ServiceTitan 2026, vendor survey).
